  • The Festival is here to provide, improve and promote arts, activities and opportunities in the Manning Valley. We aim to stimulate community involvement in the arts and enhance the arts profile of this regional area. We plan to deliver a sustainable artistic experience that benefits the community culturally and raises social wellbeing.

    The Wingham Music Festival presents local and touring artists playing diverse musical styles. A mix of well-known Australian icons have performed on the Akoostik stages. Previous festival guest artists include Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, Diesel, Kasey Chambers, Russell Morris, James Reyne, Rick Price, Backsliders, Grace Knight, Bill Chambers, Deborah Conway, Doc Neeson, Richard Clapton, Wendy Matthews, Phil Jamieson, Andrew Swift, Kevin Bennett, Arabesk, Felicity Urquhart, Jigzag, Sara Tindley, Kevin Bennett and The Flood, Shane Howard, Afro Moses, Siskin River and Smokin’ Joe Robinson plus hundreds of other regional touring artists.

    Wingham Music Festival is a community based, volunteer powered event , previously auspiced by Manning Valley Neighbourhood Services, and now its own incorporated entity. The festival is a family friendly event! The live entertainment and workshop activities cater for all ages and interests.

  • Wingham is found on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, about three and a half hours’ drive north of Sydney and only 10 minutes’ drive from the Pacific Highway.

    Regular flights from Sydney arrive into nearby Newcastle (2 hours south) or Port Macquarie (1 hour north).

    1. Campers you may have requested a specific camp site, someone else may have requested that site before you, so we have tried to accommodate those requests as best we can. 

    2. Entry for all Showground campers is via Rouse Street.

    Thursday 8.30am – 5.30pm
    Friday 7.30am – 7.30pm
    Saturday 8.30am – 11.00am

    Outside these hours, it is considered high risk due to darkness and or high number of pedestrians, so please ensure you arrive during those hours.

    1. Entry for all Manning Valley Kart Club campers is via Coglan Avenue.  Directions are on the Oztix site.

        Friday 11.30am – 7.30pm

    1. Please have your camping ticket ready at the gate to gain entry.  This can be a paper copy or on your phone/device.

  • Yes, it is an all ages event. Children 12 and under are FREE.

  • Yes, Alcohol will be available for purchase at the festival.

  • No. Alcohol is not allowed to be brought into the venue.

  • It’s about two hours’ drive.

  • It’s about three and a half hours’ drive.
